_{These terms and conditions are deemed to be accepted when you sign the Hire Contract with Cynergy Blue Ltd t/a East London Roof Box Hire hereinafter referred to as the “Company”. The Company trading address is Cynergy Blue Ltd t/a East London Roof Box Hire, Shurgard Bow 6 St Andews Way,} London E3 3PA Tel: 0208 095 0311

_Definitions

_{The “Hirer” is the person whose name & address appears on the Hire Contract of which these terms and conditions form a part. The Hirer accepts full legal liability for all the equipment listed on the hire contract(s). The Hirer must be 18 years or older “Equipment” includes Roof Bars, Roof Boxes, Bike Carriers and all associated equipment. “The Hire Period” is the date from which the equipment is collected/received by the hirer from the Company until the return date that the hirer is due to return the equipment. These dates are clearly outlined in the Hire Contract.}

_{Conditions of Hire}

1. _{Booking, Payment and Cancellation}

_{Bookings can be made by email or via telephone. Your booking will be confirmed and a non-refundable deposit  will be taken.  The balance (less deposit) will be paid on the day the Hirer receives The Equipment and prior to fitting. Payment will be made via Cash, Debit or Credit Card or bank transfer.}

2. _{Identification}

_{The Hirer must provide an up to date Driving Licence and a recent Utility Bill. The Company reserves the right to refuse hire if not completely satisfied with The Hirer’s identification.}

3. _Liability

_{The Hirer accepts full personal liability for the equipment from the time the Hirer receives it from a member of the Company’s staff or agents, until full and safe return at the end of the Hire Period or when the Equipment is returned. The Company reserves the right to charge the Hirer the full replacement cost of such equipment in the event that it becomes damaged, lost or stolen during the period of hire, or until it has been returned to the Company. Damage loss or theft of any or all Equipment will be charged. The replacement costs are as follows: – (inclusive of VAT) Roof Box £475.00, Roof Bars £99.00 – £150.00, HandiRack £65.00, Soft Roof Box £98.00, Bike Carriers £87.00 Lost or Broken Keys £10}

4. _{Collecting and Delivery and Fitting of Equipment.}

_{The Hirer or his/her agent will sign for the fitted equipment. By signing, the Hirer or his/her agent acknowledges that the equipment has been satisfactorily inspected & confirms that it is the equipment ordered and that it is in an acceptable condition.}

_{When The Company their staff and or its agents are fitting and removing the equipment The Company its staff and or its agents accepts no liability for any damage caused either to the vehicle or third parties as a result of fitting such equipment.}

5. _{Product Alternatives}

_{The Company reserves the right to supply alternative products to the original in the event of stocking issues caused by previously damaged equipment or late returns.}

6. _{Returning Equipment Late.}

_{Late return of equipment will incur a daily charge equivalent of our 4-day rate up and to the point where the cost of replacement of equipment is met. All associated Legal and recovery costs will be added to the total.}

_{a.) Theft of Equipment}

_{Theft of Equipment must be reported to the Police and a crime reference number obtained. The Hirer must notify East London Roof Box Hire within 48 hours of the theft and write to Cynergy Blue Ltd t/a East London Roof Box Hire, East London Roof Box Hire, Shurgard Bow 6 St Andews Way London E3 3PA}

_{The Hirer’s Responsibilities}

_{a.) Security of Equipment}

_{The Hirer accepts responsibility for Equipment security until its collection and undertakes not to sell or relinquish possession, alter, repair or modify}

_{b.) Safe use of Equipment}

_{The Hirer is responsible for the safe and correct operation of Equipment by competent persons not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Hirer will ensure any non-East London Roof Box Hire Equipment used in conjunction with the Equipment also conforms to safety requirements.}

_{c.) None Removal of The Equipment from Vehicle}

_{The Hirer agrees that under no circumstances will he/she or his/her agents remove the equipment from the vehicle at any time during the Hire Period.}

8. Indemnity

_{The Hirer will indemnify the Company its employees and or its agents against any claim’s actions, proceedings, damages and or liabilities arising out of or relating to the Hirers use of the Equipment. Your statutory rights are not affected.}
